Choose what to remember
You can save either choice below, change it later or remove it. The choice applies to this browser and site origin only, not to other devices. Both choices leave the site's current no-tracking behaviour unchanged.
JavaScript is needed to read or save a preference.
What is stored?
| Item | Type and purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| summitcedarwhrl-cookie-preference | localStorage value: “accept” or “essential”; remembers your explicit choice | Until reset, cleared by you or removed by the browser |
| Worksheet entries | Temporary page memory for building a text note; not saved by site code | Until the page is closed or reloaded, subject to browser restoration features |
Cookies and localStorage are different
Cookies can accompany requests to a server. localStorage is a browser storage mechanism that is not automatically attached to each request. Similar privacy rules may apply to both. The supplied JavaScript uses localStorage only for the preference described above and does not set cookies.
Managing your device
Your browser's privacy or site-data settings can remove stored preferences. Private-browsing sessions may discard them when the session ends. If storage is blocked, the controls display a message and cannot preserve your choice. Removing the preference does not remove downloaded notes or clear your clipboard; manage those separately on your device.
Further information
This page describes the storage used by the site's supplied functions. Ordinary hosting requests may still involve technical server processing, as explained in Information handling. If new optional technologies are introduced, their purposes and controls must be explained before they are used where consent is required.
Questions about storage can be sent to [email protected].
